
I got this notification from Wise. I still went to the store to pick my order up. I asked and showed this to the staff. They checked the order and said there's no problem and I can keep the good. I don't want to face charges because of this bs. Is this normal?

Seems like a problem in their payment collecting process. Just wait some days, I’m sure they’ll run another collecting attempt. If this fails they’ll contact you.
No, don’t pin me on this but i think they legally only have 7 days to process the payment, they probably didn’t make it for some reason and now it’s easyer for them to just refund you, in your Position I would just wait and see if they contact you, otherwise just enjoy your free stuff
Mediamarkt is a mess. I once went to return an item and they said they couldn’t take it because I got it from another branch. They still did something and issued a refund and didn’t want the product back. Out of courtesy I went to the other branch and they didn’t want it there either.
This reminds me of the time I bought a 600 Euro TV from Media Markt. Got it delivered home 2 hours later but they sent me the wrong one. Price of the delivered one: Nearly 14000 Euro. That was too risky for me and I tried to return it but it took me 2 weeks and over 10 calls and multiple emails to clear this up, because from their end, everything seemed to be fine.
I have experienced this with a meat shop. They eventually took the money back after three months or so.
Something similar happened to me with Amazon. I contacted them as soon as I realized 👌 but was not a big deal, still contact them 😂
I have been told that mediamarkt is a mess ever since they updated their payment system. I was there on Black Friday for the deals and there was a odd bug which had them make me pay twice and then get refunded once in order to complete the transaction.
Ignore it, Mediamarkt are incompetent and will never notice. Enjoy your free stuff
This happened to me with IKEA click and collect.
I got the stuff and the same day they refunded everything.
I called them and they said… Have fun with free stuff….

You’re obliged to pay it/ contact them. Not sure where the people get the idea from that the Seller would not contact you when they notice that the transaction didnt went through.
I had a similar problem with Dell and PayPal. Dell sent me an e-mail about 3 months later asking to pay the open amount (which I did of course). They were totally friendly and told me that there payment workflow had an error and did not collect the money which was then transferred back to me.
Hack to save money. Never encountered this.
Happened to me as well, the money was finally charged 3 weeks after receiving the items
