Winter Wonderland sticking out like a big glittery thumb.

  1. It reminds me of the houses on Rightmove – the grey ones that you subconsciously think have black and white pictures, until the artfully placed kitchen banana shocks you into the realisation it’s one of ^those^ houses.

  2. Huge thanks to this sub for pointing me away from this and toward Christmas at Kew instead.

  3. Quite nice of them to highlight the worst possible place to be in London right now.

  4. Is it still sad and depressing since they started charging for entry? It looks sad and depressing.

  5. I have a yearly tradition of trash talking this every year, then at some point I may consider going and then I end up not going.

  6. Wonderland. Went in its early years and it was absolutely terrible. Not bothered since

  7. The last time I went to WW it was so cold I swore I would never come back again. I was absolutely FREEZING. I know this year’s winter is milder than usual but that experience put me off. Not to mention the extremely overpriced and unhealthy food. £6 for a cone of chips, I remember. The circus show was OK, enjoyed a couple of the rides but I just find it to be such a waste of money. Rather get nice food in a heated restaurant than ever go back here again.

Not to mention the Christmas markets are the same tat you get in Trafalgar Square. They seem like cheap tat from Wish or Temu. No genuinely original products.

  8. God I absolutely despise that place. It ruins the park and surrounding area for months as well as complete idiots walking into the bike lanes and roads without looking at what they’re doing.

  9. Top Tip: wear your Canada goose jacket over the juicy couture tracksuit, or Hoodrich for the lads, have a few lines and you’ll be neither cold or hungry.

  10. Glittering puss on the landscape that leaves your pocket dry.

  11. It’s a very expensive over hyped fun fair right?
