  1. I remember accidentally throwing away a dozen Faberge eggs thinking they were expired, I demand the council reimburse me for my loss!

  2. Man sues council for disposing of rubbish he threw out

  3. Sick of hearing about this guy now. It’s gone mate.

Gotta love how he thinks he’d be able to find it if the council did let him excavate the tip, got more chance of finding a fart in a jacuzzi.

  4. The only way he can make money from this now is if he sells his story for some cheap TV movie.

  5. Ah yes I also had gold bars lying in the street when the bin man took them, compensation now!

  6. Without doxxing myself, I can tell you I know with 100 per cent certainty that the bitcoin doesn’t exist. He’s a scammer.

  7. Counterclaim against him for all the council officers wasted time dealing with him. He’s been told explicitly why it’s not possible and not happening but he continues on with his farce.

  8. he got no case, he screwed up and is now blaming others just take the L dude!

  9. Get on with your life the rats have eaten your bitcoin. This guy needs counselling.

  10. There is a part of me, having spent so fuckin long hearing about this, that sort of would love to see them actually just dig it up to put it all to bed once and for all. Obviously that is a mental ask and is never going to happen, but I do hate a dangling thread.

  11. He lost the bitcoin in 2013 but it was still cheap as chips then and he had ample time to get back on the horse. Something doesn’t add up.

  12. Even if he found the nonexistent drive, the plates holding the data would be fucked up with bin juice by now. What a clown.

  13. Remember when that RAF bloke slept in a bin and got sent to a landfill? They couldn’t find his body after months of searching and excavation. What the fuck makes this joker think he could find his hard drive, which would most likely be so damaged that any data would be completely unrecoverable. Just let it go mate.

  14. Again! The last story was only a week ago. If he keeps increasing the frequency at this rate, he might end up travelling back in time and be able to stop his earlier self from being such a moron!

  15. If he’s going to continue the scam of pretending he’s got millions lost on the top he might as well start telling people he’s a Nigerian prince and will give people £50000 if they can send him £5000 first

  16. >The council argued that the law stated that property deposited at landfill sites belonged to the local authority, and that its environmental permits forbade it from disrupting the area in pursuit of the hard drive.

Good luck mate. I’ll place money on this attempt failing. It’ll make me a rich man.

  17. It’s ludicrous to think it has survived, finding the thing amongst so much other rubbish seems equally ludicrous.

  18. People who bought or mined bitcoin don’t throw away hard drives.

I’ve got every single computer I’ve ever owned still at home, nevermind just the hard drives, which take up fuck all space.

    Man’s a grifter.

  19. I can’t help but wonder, what if he wins the court case and by some miracle manages the fund the missing hard drive. Gets her me connects it up only to find it’s water damaged, corrupted or some other issue with that just won’t make it work. Totally knackered lol

  20. I go to that tip and whilst I haven’t seen the main area I wouldn’t expect to find something I dumped at the huge bins yesterday. How the fuck does he think something lost in 2013 is gonna be found.

Still if Newport City council wanna settle may I suggest parking enforcement budget cos fuck the SWPG

  21. One of the worst parts about working in the news is having to talk to these kinds of guys without telling them how badly they need to grow up and just stop throwing these kinds of tantrums

  22. It’d cost hundreds of millions in man power and machinery hire.
Also, I dropped my hardrive off my small coffee table and it was corrupted. How the hell would this hard drive survive the elements?
