I meant I'm asking here. I haven't sold anything on Ricardo for a long time. Two weeks ago I sold something there. The fees amounted to 12%. At first I wondered who had sent me money from abroad. It is now clear that Ricardo is behind this. I have to pay fees at my bank if someone sends me money from abroad. I have already contacted Ricardo. The queue took forever. The support was not really nice. They even hung up the phone. I asked Ricardo to transfer the 1.50CHF for the fees from the bank to me. They refused.
What should I do? After all, I pay enough fees. I don't have the nerve for any more fees.

So is ricardo using a dutch payment system or was the other person dutch and uses this app? If it‘s 12% why are you talking about 1.50?
Yeah Adyen is a payment processor.
Probably Ricardo is right and they lust have stated some fees somewhere in their conditions.
Nothing is free nowadays, if you want to have those 1.5 CHF then don’t use their payment escrow service.
Is this about 1.50 CHF? Just let it go is my expert advice
I hate Ricardo
On a side note: when you use the “Versandetikette” provided by ricardo for sending an item with Swiss Post, ricardo charges you the full postage fee but they get charged substantially less by swiss post.
Banks charging fees for incoming transactions is almost unheard of. Not even UBS does that. What bank are you using?
You are making a hassle because of 1.50? Bro, are you serious?
Read the terms and conditions there is likely something there. And I would avoid whatever shady service you used, better stick with PayPal. Of course when selling online I guess you will want some guarantees but you have to pay for that.
All this over 1.50chf? Jesus Christ mate send me your phone number and I’ll Twint it to you if you’re that desperate
Go see a lawyer and take that 1.50 back
they were right to hang up
To be honest: This seems to be more of a problem with your bsnk, not with Ricardo. It is super annoying with their payment processor for MoneyGuard being in the Netherlands and you really don’t expect it – but additional fees for this are with your bank, not with them.
I have created a separate bank account for my Ricardo stuff. Yuh and Neon are great, free options for this …

Be Aware of international transactions, the fees need to be payed from the sender or recipient, try to send money somewhere and you will see how the fees get applied, you can send 465 and the receiver might only getting 455 or something like that
Im not sure what and when exactly something was charged.
If „Money guard“ was activated maybe the 12% fee was just the fees you pay for selling stuff on Ricardo which was deducted from the Money guard payment directly?
