  1. I’m resigned to the fact that the next 4 years are going to be a regression in climate policy. This is silly but I’m almost starting to hope for a Deus Ex Machina in a technological breakthrough that addresses the climate issues.

  2. What I don’t understand at this point is how groups of executives are so continually detached from the reality of the situation that climate change is making the planet uninhabitable? You can’t spend money if the economy stops existing, newsflash guys. A child could understand this. I’m no expert but I’ve done enough research to say pretty confidently they are probably psychopaths.

    The word “insane” gets thrown around a lot but these certainly seem to be truly insane decisions to make. As in, detached from reality, outwardly delusional. Lack of any meaningful foresight and an inability to think past one’s own immediate interests. It’s really childish and kind of animalistic, honestly. I’m not one for value judgments in general, but they are arguably evil and criminally insane in this regard.
