OK I understand the disability organisation staff point of view but what will this achieve?
The government is outgoing and its after an election and we don’t even know what role FG will have in the next government. Also if they strike who do they negotiate with to end it when the government it about to be dissolved and a new one formed.
The current government cannot do anything even if it wanted as its mandate is over.
Should SIPTU not advise them to wait until a new government is formed so they can make demands to someone with power to do something?

To what end?

They should bring him to court and sue him
as absurd as it would be futile
