Despite sanctions, Russia acquires critical goods via intermediaries, shell companies, and foreign firms, sustaining its military complex. To counter this, stricter export controls, sanctions on intermediaries, and global cooperation are needed to cut off access to dual-use technologies.

  1. This is nothing new and it is also nothing new that the trade is looking for its own ways. What is new, however, is that the producing countries are being held responsible, as shown in your graphic. This is wrong or do you know what the middleman in Turkey, Kazakhstan, India, Dubai, UAE etc. etc. etc., then does with the goods? That is a serious question! Do you know that?
