UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio — John Carroll University’s Boler College of Business has been recognized for the second consecutive year as one of the country’s top graduate business programs for 2025, according to Fortune’s Best MBA Programs list for 2025.
In the latest rankings, Boler’s Master of Business Administration Program (MBA) was listed as 77th best MBA program in the country, number four in Ohio, and number three among Jesuit MBA programs nationwide.
“These rankings underscore the commitment we’ve made over the last several years to offer the highest quality MBA program to our students,” said interim dean for Boler College of Business Joanna Garcia, in a release. “We’ve been intentional about designing programs to meet a variety of student needs, from recent graduates to more seasoned professionals.
“We have leaned into our strong network of alumni at Northeast Ohio businesses to offer students opportunities to engage with business professionals on real-world issues throughout their time at JCU.”
John Carroll’s MBA program offers two distinct pathways designed to meet students’ unique needs: the Boler MBA, and the Professional MBA.
The Boler MBA concentrates on equipping recent graduates with skills needed to thrive early in their careers, while the Professional MBA is geared toward empowering experienced professionals to advance into senior management and leadership roles.
Both tracks offer eight specializations and feature extensive experiential learning opportunities.
Students can participate in initiatives such as an annual global study trip, which has included destinations such as Israel, South Africa and Brazil, and provide firsthand exposure to international business environments.
Additionally, the CEO Insights series brings prominent business leaders to campus to share their expertise and perspectives, enriching the student learning experience.
“We’re pleased that Fortune recognized the MBA program in our Boler College of Business, because it brings together the best of John Carroll — dynamic teaching, cutting-edge research, engaged alumni and employer partners — all designed to help our students advance both their careers and the common good,” said Vice President for Academic Affairs Bonnie Gunzenhauser.
The Fortune listing states that new graduates of the JCU Boler College have a median base salary of $72,500.
Placing first on the list is the Harvard Business School at Harvard University.
