The Swiss atomic research organisation, Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI), is working with Copenhagen Atomics on the development of a modular nuclear reactor running on Thorium.
The reactor of the size of a shipping container is built in Denmark. Then it is shipped to the PSI, fueled up, and run for a test run for a couple of months. After the test run and a cool-down period, it is shipped back to Denmaks for post-test analysis.

I find that a very exciting development.

Please explain..what is the exciting development? That it is shipped back and forth? If it’s thorium…is that a fusion reactor? Sorry, can’t watch the vid at work….
Aren’t these the plasma, melted salt, donut shaped magnetic field, or lasers pointing all at one point systems where we never manage to get more energy out than is put in? They’re happy if it reacts for 5 seconds…
Didn’t they stop building the huge money suck in france that was the same thing just bigger? ITER or something?
