  3. We need more cuts so we can appropriate even more taxpayer money and wealth of our children and grandchildren for the billionaire class. To hell with these self-serving assholes.

  4. Or….lets stop sending billions of dollars to other countries. Let’s stop wasting government money on programs that benefit absolutely no one. Let’s stop government pensions. Let’s stop paying subsidies to companies that in turn get spent to fund election campaigns.

    There is money. Plenty of it. Government bloat and excess spending has got to stop.

  5. Fuck it. Let’s start with cuts to the people already receiving benefits since the 65+ crowd overwhelmingly votes red, let’s give them what they wanted. Maybe that would be the catalyst to flip their vote and start getting more dems elected down ticket. Then hopefully by the time I’m ready to retire in 20 years, the dems will have fixed the problem and I can get the benefits that I’ve paid into my whole life.

  11. We need to increase the retirement age and cut spending. The elderly have had too many benefits and they have been pushing NIMBY policies too hard while hoarding housing supply. They can afford to get a cut in benefits and even feel some backlash for the economic pain they have inflicted on the Millennials.

    Boomers are getting $1800 per month from Social Security and another ~$1600 per month worth of benefits from Medicare per retiree. There is no cap to get those benefits. Households with children get $2000 per year per child and there is a cap on who can get those benefits. It’s ridiculous how boomers are taking advantage of workers.
