Rinkēvičs thanked Slovakia for its significant contribution to strengthening Latvia’s security by ensuring the participation of representatives of the Slovak armed forces in the NATO multinational brigade in Latvia.

“The participation of the Slovak military contingent in the NATO multinational brigade in Latvia strengthens deterrence and defense capabilities along NATO’s Eastern flank. This was also recently confirmed by the “Resolute Warrior 2024″ exercise of the NATO multinational brigade in Latvia , demonstrating the cooperation of the allies on the battlefield,” said Rinkēvičs.

In addition, the President of the Slovak Republic was due to visit the soldiers of the Slovak contingent of the NATO multinational brigade stationed in Latvia.
