Well, they had enough people in parliament that wanted it overturned.
The problem here is the people in the position to override the declaration are complicit unlike in S. Korea
You need the other side to be decent people who disagree about specific policies but care about doing the right thing for the country. Our Republicans will never let that happen.
You would need a couple Republicans in the House and Senate to vote with the Democrats, and then the Supreme Court would have to stay out of it.
Parliament worked together to stop it. That will never happen in the US. Too many boot-lickers in the GOP.
What use could the notes be?
The US had their chance, and decided to abandon their Constitution instead of supporting it
