That area’s been contested for a reason. Are they planning on an all out assault on Kherson, or are they trying to capture them for a front line freeze- that wouldn’t make any sense, those islands would likely be demilitarized under that scenario.

Russians are trying to ensure a victory. Because Russia has so many losses. So another 50,000 Harpoon missles will turn the tide.
Let them go in and reinforce then just concentrate artillery on that position after.
