French President Emmanuel Macron will address the nation on Thursday after opposition lawmakers ousted the minority government, deepening the country’s political crisis, the Elysee said.
Macron, who just returned from Saudi Arabia, will speak to the French people in an address from 1900 GMT Thursday, his office said on Wednesday. His aides gave no details on when a new prime minister could be appointed.
