  1. He prob not did it because no matter what he did they tarnish his reputation.

  2. Nah everyone knows Gaza destroyed Bidens legacy just like Vietnam did LBJ

  3. My favorite is that actual pardoned criminal Dinesh D’Souza chimed in, criticizing Biden for this.

  4. Does anyone actually care? He lost the debate and left the dems with no primary, which let Trunp win. Who gives a fuck about legacy? If we cared about that then why did Trunp win?

  5. The double standard here is that Biden’s pardon was okay but Trump’s were not. Blind tribalism is destroying America.

  6. Considering Trump has said he will pardon Jan 6 criminals I am glad Biden pardoned his son.

  7. Can I get a definition of what an “actual criminal” is?

Is dodging millions in taxes and using that money to fuel a lavish lifestyle complete with daily cocaine use and paying for hookers not “actual criminal” behavior?

Let me guess: “only people who commit violent crime are real criminals”?

  8. I can’t take anyone who condemns this seriously. This was the right thing to do, clearly and obviously, from a moral perspective. I have no love for Hunter Biden, but Congress getting involved was clearly over the line, and the abuse of prosecutorial discretion is clear.

  9. Now is the perfect time to create those bait and switch memes saying hinting that it was Biden who pardoned all these terrible people with specific examples etc, and in the bottom line fine print correct yourself saying it was trump.

  10. To trump supports his felonies, sexual assault, and pardoning 100s of criminals only enhance their support of him. Clearly and transparently, they are hypocrites.

  11. Not only did Trump do all that…

But he also pardoned Kodak Black for the exact crime Hunter Biden was found guilty of…. So wouldn’t this quite literally be the same situation? Or is it different because it’s Hunter Biden?

But if it matters that it’s Hunter Biden, then what about Trump pardoning Charles Kushner and then appointing him to be an ambassador to France… WTF?

  12. Is there a world where both ppl can be called out? Idk John Stewart had a pretty solid take on this.

  13. If any relation to me was about to be under the lawless guns of cash poteck I would do ANYTHING in my power to protect them. Not to mention the charges against Hunter are completely dismissable but it’s a chance fir revenge and we know how much orange wants that. Take away his toys and let him whine about it, what a baby

  14. trump is worse on everything but that doesn’t mean what Biden did isn’t shitty. I have defended Biden on a lot of issues, but fuck Biden for this.

  15. I think you’ll find that many of the people saying that Biden ruined his legacy by doing this also believe that Trump pardoning those people was bad.

But that’s a nice false equivalecy You created to support the opinions you have.

  16. I think the media has made it abundantly clear that if you just declare yourself to be a scumbag then all scumbag-like behavior is just waved off as “there he goes again” versus crucifying you for weeks for minor transgressions because you dared to be a decent person

  17. Sorry, it’s very bad for us. Should all presidents pardon their son’s crimes? Why not all people sons crimes?

If you don’t see how this will be used as an excuse for all of trumps criminal pardons, you are not paying attention.

I’m done with corruption at every level.

    It destroys civilization.

  18. When nothing you do or say can convince 33% of Americans that you’re not a:

    1. Pedofile
    2. Communist
    3. Cannibal
    4. Clone
    5. Lizard person in a human body suit
    6. Hurricane creator
    7. Deep State Godfather
    8. Leader of a faked insurrection
    9. Genius mastermind of mind control vaccine plot
    10. Drooling senile walking invalid

Are you really that bothered to add hypocrite to the list?

  19. As far as I can tell, there are two groups that never get tired of Republican hypocrisy: Republicans and the media.

  20. …and GIVING THEM GOVERNMENT POSITIONS!! No one, NO ONE on the right gets to say a damn thing about Hunter’s pardon

  21. I SUPPORTED BIDEN AND KAMALA, and hate playing devil’s advocate, but saying “Trump pardoned actual criminals!” is kinda defeating the point that Hunter did break the law, as many people have. Did he deserve to have his case be so prolific and wildly outlandish? No, but he did commit crimes and I do not think Biden was ever not going to pardon him. All in all there were better things for Republicans and news outlets to focus on rather than Hunters trial in Kangaroo court, but it was never not going to be this.

TLDR: There is a tiered justice system in our country and anyone here who thought that either side wouldn’t pardon someone they like just because of media attention is ignorant. We’re not on the tier of justice where we can get pardons like they do, Democrat or Republican voters.

  22. “Well, they said I should be angry on the fox news, so….”

  23. Have you ever heard the expression “two wrongs don’t make a right”?

  24. So he didn’t do anything to prevent a trump presidency because decorum and shit, but he pardons his son, very cool

  25. I wonder if people are even listening to themselves when their best and proudest argument is “at least we’re not as bad as the other guys.”

  26. I hate this false dichotomy.

Many many many people who refused to vote for Trump *because of those exact reasons* are also upset that Biden would pardon his son (despite how personally understandable)

  27. I’m sick of pretending to care about norms and precedents

  28. One side must be flawless while the other side can be lawless.

  29. Biden destroyed whatever legacy he thought he was building by making America a partner to genocide

  30. One sin is a scandal, a hundred sins is entertainment.

  31. The whole “not as bad as…” argument is lame. Letting criminals off the hook is lame regardless of who does it.

  32. Dinesh D’Sousa shitting on Biden for pardoning his son while being the recipient of one of Trump’s pardons for violating campaign finance laws

  33. “This gives Trump justification to pardon Giuliani, Bannon, J6 participants, and so many more!!!”

Really? Like he wasn’t already going to do it before this?

“Biden *lied*!!! He just tarnished his reputation and his legacy beyond repair and will go down in history as the worst president ever!!!”

Uh, no… Biden simply changed his mind,
Plus Trump already holds those records y’all. As shown in office in Fall 2016 and January 2020.

  34. One father to another, I think he made a very human choice and one that I would have also made given the circumstances. Doesn’t bother me one bit.
