Edit: for those who love to be offended on behalf of others, who haven’t even said they find it offensive, get a fucking life. This is a society I have lived in. If you have not, then you have no reason to be offended on behalf of that society. Get a fucking life.
I met Konishiki Yasokichi AKA Dump Truck and the other sumo wrestlers the last time they came to London.
I was only about 4. My grandad was driving through Kensington and noticed them going into a hotel. We went into the lobby and my grandad just started talking to them and the people they were with.
One of the sumo wrestlers made me a hat out of a plastic bag and I’ve got a picture somewhere with me sitting on his lap with the bag on my head and him wearing a traditional robe.
