This is the first time I've enjoyed a unique flavoured cider, might be my new favourite infact.

Are there any other unique flavoured ciders out there that are actually good?

  1. I’ll keep an eye out for this. I love mangos. I suspect it might be too sweet though, I dislike pear cider for that reason.

  2. Lilley makes. All sorts of flavoured cider. Be careful tho, the shit taste like sugar and hits you like a truck.

  3. Lilley’s are great, I’d recommend trying their whole collection. The Cola one is a bit odd but enjoyable nonetheless

  4. I mean, you can make booze from any starch/sugar, really. When I was a student I made wine from Rubicon in my wardrobe. It… Well it did the job.

  5. “I’ll give it to you straight, like a pear cider that’s made from 100% pears”

  6. My wife knows someone who makes wine from anything, so I’m not surprised they’re pulling the same trick with cider.

It’s a bit surprising when you get offered things like “carrot wine”.

In my house we just have wine but 🤷‍♂️

  7. My local has this permanently on tap, as well as another rotating through other flavours by the same brand. It’s brilliant.

  8. Tastes like pop and hits you hard like white lighting and a 10 B&H on a random Thursday in the park 🤣

  9. Their Pina Colada one is exceptional. I didn’t know you could make cider from Pina Colada’s

  10. Ooh where’s you find this? Looks local to me but I’m trying to think where I could buy some from. Mango is my go-to flavour for everything

  11. Turners from Kent do an Apple Pie cider and it takes exactly like… apple pie and its fucking delicious and I have a 10l box of it sat downstairs for crimbo

  12. Lilley’s are very sweet. My local sells them out of a box so usually mix it half & half with something dry, the elderflower one is particularly good

  13. They used to have Beesting in some of the pubs at uni, that stuff could really pack a punch

  14. The rhubarb one is banging! They have it on tap at my local

  15. They do a still version too. A few of the pubs in Notts do it and it’s fatal because it’s like drinking squash .

  16. I haven’t had it in ages, but Brother’s Toffee Apple Cider is definitely a good choice for you if you like this.

  17. I had some Lilly’s Dark Cider in a pub the other week. Just a half, 7.5%, goes down a bit too easily. Quite sweet though, as is their Perry.

  18. There’s a company that make strawberry, pineapple, mango and loads of other flavours like loads.

I wish I could wish I could remember their name. Maybe lillys or something

It’s just cider with flavourings I think but it’s lovely I first had it at Annie’s in Nottingham when visiting

Edit fuck I’m a moron, the bottle is the brand.

  19. Rattler makes a peach cider that is absolutely delicious, drank plenty of it when I visited their factory

  20. I love this stuff. My friends despise it though and don’t understand how I can drink it.

  21. It’s flavoured cider, not cider from mangos, it’s mango flavour added to sweet cider

  22. I had this the other day (garden centre purchase?). I don’t like it really. Tasted like a fizzy mango drink that had gone flat lol

  23. You can get Lilley’s on offer in Morrisons though the selection varies, 3 for £6 so much cheaper than directly from Lilley’s. The bag in box directly from Lilley’s are still reasonable price wise and aren’t carbonated which I sometimes prefer depending on flavour.

  24. Lily’s Gladiator was dangerous stuff when i lived in Somerset, 8.4% apple juice

  25. Beware the violent migraine you *will* get the morning after one of these. Source; me, after one of these.

  26. I’ve heard that your mum likes to have a mango in cider.

  27. Love this. Can’t have more than one pint though because it’s super sweet.

  28. Is it cider made from mangoes or apple cider flavoured with mango?

I’ll drink it regardless, just interested.

  29. It’s better for you than Monster Mango Loco, which I love too. At least that’s what I tell myself 😁

  30. The best was when I was at a cider festival in bath that did 8% versions of all the Lilly’s ciders, deadly but damn tasty

  31. Had some the last time I was at Whitby (The Pier Inn) as I always try something different at a pub if I can. Really enjoyed it and want to buy some more at some point.

  32. Ever since Brothers cider got rid of all their interesting flavours like toffee apple and replaced them I’ve been on the hunt for something similar.

    Thanks for the heads up!

  33. I’ve always found Lilley’s a bit gimmicky, and as a bit of a cider snob I tend to seek out 100% juice ciders.
