Long may she reign
Louis XIV vous adresse ses compliments.
Here is Queen Elizabeth working as a [vehicle mechanic](https://imgur.com/a/PlQXlpO) and as a [truck driver and ambulance driver](https://imgur.com/a/rMmY1dg) during the war.
I hunted these photos out for something else and thought they were worth posting here, as they are quite a contrast to [OP’s magnificent 2010 portrait](https://www.abroadintheyard.com/elizabeth-queen-of-scots-elizabeth-ii-pictured-scottish-highlands/).
Its actually 69 years 8 months and 23 days ([https://www.britroyals.com/reigned.asp](https://www.britroyals.com/reigned.asp)) since she ascended the throne. She will be 98 by the time she beats Louis XIVs record but as her mum made it to 101 I think she has a good chance.
Louis XIV also had a bit of a head start as he became king age 4 while Elizabeth didn’t until she was 26.
A few more years to beat Louis XIV
It’s not really comparable considering how safe and care free most of her life was.
Common, I’m sure they could have found a better location for that picture.
