  1. Can someone explain the French system to me? They have both a President and a Prime Minister? Does the PM act sort of like a Speaker of the House (in the American System)?

  2. So South Korea declared martial law, France has a government that is collapsing, the US is getting a fascist next month, CANADA OR GERMANY WOULD YOU LIKE TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE GLOBAL MELTDOWN THAT IS SURE TO COME NEXT YEAR?

  3. Macron won’t ally himself with the left because their programs are directly opposed pretty much which means that his options are very limited. Really there’s no game to play here the Assembly ended up cut in such a way that no party has enough power to form a stable govemrmet and they can’t call for new elections until next year.

  4. Play stupid games win stupid prices, mr. Macron. France could have had a stable government if he choose to cooperate with the Left which won the elections. It was obvious this government would not last, but don’t worry, I’m sure it is another part of Macron’s “great gamble against the far right” or whatever.

  5. Haha, get fucked, Macron. This is what you get for defying the will of the people.

Extra characters because the mods are lazy. This rule does nothing to improve discourse on the sub, only to restrict it.
