Same. I picked up the habit as a teenager in the pub in late 1980s. Been doing it ever since.
That’s how people used to buy cocaine
Too advanced for me, I knot mine
Yup. Was shown it 30 years ago. Still do it.
I tie a knot. Fuck origami.
Yessss! A friend showed me in primary school and I’ve been doing it for 30+ years
Every. Damn. Time. I can’t see an empty crisp packet and not do it.
Yup
Yep, do it for my cat. she loves playing with them.
I do this.
Turns out crisp packet triangles on a hard floor surface are the best cat toys in the world according to my 13 year old fluff-ball
Yes I do
Yes most of the time. It’s not so much out of compulsion, but it makes it more compact and much easier to deal with as rubbish.
I would if i could figure out how!
Not me. I placed flat over a closed fist and stuff it in the clenched hand, tucking in the straggling edges, to make a ball.
I don’t do it to crisp packets, but it’s how I fold my shopping bags so that they slip nicely into a pocket.
Yes yes. I have been waiting for a long time to see this post. I literally can’t have some crisps and not do this! And if someone spilts open the bag to “share” … I’m seething inside. Haha
**Every**
**Time**
An ex taught me how to do this and now I can’t stop doing it.
No I do the other thing where you make a hole in your fist, push the pack in on itself and turn it into a mini missile.
The only thing I learnt at university that I still use today.
Sensational
The only thing productive to come out of Covid lockdowns was someone in my bubble teaching me how to do this. Can’t stop now
Yeah, fold into thirds first
Or if it’s hula hoops into quarters but long ways
If I knew how I probably would!
yes – me and a friend have been rating our triangles for 20 years. This is a 6. good corners, looks quite flat, except for that right side…
Those are rookie numbers, son.
Yes I do this.
Unfortunately my wife knows this.
So if I sneak eat a bag of crisps and she sees this in the bin, I can’t blame the kids or visitors.
But it’s a compulsion.
As is the crisp eating.
We call it a friangle
Yes, but this is the first time I’ve seen someone else do it, lol!
Not sure what I fold the most – crisp packets or my hand in poker…
Yes and no. I try but can never find out how I get it to tuck into itself to hold itself together.
Can someone explain the method?
All the time.
And not just the crisp packets. But the choccy bar wrappers and the peanut bags too.
I do this to my carrier bags to store them neatly
Absolutely. Picked up the habit after drinking with a guy who used to make them from spicy tomato wheat crunchies packs then do the opening credits of dad’s army with them on the pub table. Never got old.
