Hey guys,
The parquet near the bathroom got damaged due to water. I am also not able to close the door now and I can see the door being wrinkled as it is being pressed against the floor.
Does anyone of you have an idea how much fixing both of these would cost? How much would my landlord charge me. I do have liability insurance as well. Would they cover it for me? I am stressed as hell. Can anybody please share their experiences?

It’s gonna be a number with three zeros. Labor is very expensive in Germany and I assume this isn’t a door from the hardware store.
I had a similar situation – the bathroom doors were a bit too low, and when water stayed on the floor, they would get wet. As you can imagine, the doors became “swollen.” I called my landlord, and he sent a handyman who fixed it on-site in 20 minutes. He cut off the bottom, added some silicone, adjusted the hinges, and it was done. The cost was zero. Maybe my landlord is just a nice guy. Now, I’m waiting for a new fridge since my Miele gave up after 8 years, and the repair costs are unreasonable. Frankly speaking, I was expecting a bit more from Miele. It will be a zero cost form me as well. But I’m renting a flat with EBK so it belongs to the landlord.
So, did you just let this get progressively worse over time or was this part of one major incident?
Ok, first of all: this is up to your landlord to fix it. if you have insurance , worst what can happen is you gotta contact them.
But any eventual bill would be directed from your landlord to your insurance company.
Anybody here who pretents OP has to pay for it (and had previous experience) have been scammed by their landlord.
