had the Catholic church…
not had to pay out billions for diddling little kids…
they could have paid for all this themselves…
with only the help of Jesus…
Maybe change it to a mosque and they won’t burn it again.
It makes me think about all of the times we hear people say things like “we can’t do that today.” Yes we can, plus we can do it faster. The only thing stopping us is expense. We don’t follow the will of one person in countries that elect their leaders. Now it requires the “will of the people” to make these projects.
Thanks, DRC for all gold from that cathedral.
Did those french guys just stuffed another golden geese? He stuffed the turkey with 2000 names and a container. Foie gras everyone
Magnifique!
May God be praised for such an excellent restoration. A minus is the addition of modernist art which is ugly.
5:00 If these bells are newly made, where are the original ones?
It's sad that she didn't get her medieval colours back.
The single most important thing to remember is, while a building is being restored hire a night fire watchman. Yes, a real person is expensive, but rebuilding is far more expensive.
So much ego!
The magnificent Catholic cathedrals are built for the Living, Almighty God. The builders have quietly done it for the love of God and his Church from the beginning of Christianity.
Trying to appoint the glory to men or a country is disrespectful.
Jesus is the way, the truth, the life. No one comes to the father but by him. No man made religions required. Believe on the son and you WILL be saved.

Jesus would have said: What purpose is this rebuilding meant for? the millions of euros spent on rebuilding a grandiose cathedral would have served a lot of good if it was spent for the millions of people that are homeless, the poor, the afflicted and the helpless, as is written in the Bible.
I first visited Notre Dame Cathedral in August, 1989. As a Filipino Catholic, my visit was more significant because i was able to pray in a house of God in Paris, France. As well, marveled at the architecture and the art (paintings on the walls, sculptures, colorful stained glass windows). Hence, watching the footages on television when the cathedral was burning in 2019 was such a horrifying occurrence for me. This past Nov. 15, 2024, i was able to visit Notre Dame again. However, our tour group went there at night. So, i only took photos from the outside.
I commend the French people, the Parisians and all the workers, artisans, engineers, et al. who successfully restored this gem of a cathedral and a Paris landmark.
Viva Le France 🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷
God Bless France ✝️❤️
Merci President Macron. I have visited Notre Dame . It is beautiful even then.
Imagine what it will be like for the people who attend Midnight Mass there in a few weeks! It will be like being in heaven!
Hey Coy! Thanks for all you do! Give us a shout out in for Simmons Middle School, South Dakota!
I love seeing all these crafts people who contributed to the restoration. Especially watching them in action
There are are some that do criticize this restoration and remodel.
To them I state there was a fair chance that it wouldn't be done at all, or the work would take decades.
It took only four years. Open for business once again.
Glory to God.
Great job. I'm a metal fabricator and really appreciate people who take pride in their work, and getting the job done right. My hats off to all the craftsmen and women who took on this project and knocked it out of the park.
I hope that – what can't be said out openly – won't "happen" again🫢
Excellent job! Congratulations!
I am so impressed by this, and proud to have donated to its restoration.
Congratulations to all the specialists and constructionists and artists, you have done France proud, and on time!
