  1. I vaguely wondered how she had as much money as she did when I found out her and Sutton were BFFs. Between residuals and gambling, she must do reallllllllly well! Love to see it

  2. Apparently “Tilly receives 30 percent of net proceeds that Simon’s estate receives from the show, an arrangement she credits with allowing her to be choosier about her roles”. Sheesh!

  4. My brother just did a movie with her called “Sallywood” she plays his mother in it, she is so sweet, one of the nicest people you could meet in Hollywood.

  5. Guys been dead longer than they were married and she’s still making money off him. Not sure how I feel about that.

  8. I just watched Tilly’s episode of her then husband Sam Smith’s show at the time, Cheers. Simon was a producer and writer on Cheers before co-creating The Simpsons.

    Edit: And they were best friends after they divorced. I’m glad he had her around during his cancer battle.

  10. Sam Simon was very generous. He gave $$ to Ralph Cirella in his will & donated the bulk of his $$ to animal charities.

  15. I heard Sam on Howard Stern back in the day. He said her advice was against the shorts on the Tracy Ullman show because she thought they weren’t funny and we weren’t worth the extra money. Howard said something to the effect of “ and now you have to pay her all that money.“ Sam agreed, and he sounded plenty resentful, laughing like, well what are you going to do?

    I don’t know what else we’re all reading or what she’s saying now, but I heard that for myself.
