Wouldn’t try that here in the USA, good on the soldier for having discipline.
She knew she wouldn’t get shot, so she made sure the camera was recording her before attempting to grab the gun lol.
Pure showmanship

She is performing a publicity stunt for her own gain. Read the comments on this video from koreans. The soldiers did not want to be there. They brought training bullets, not real bullets. They lounged about, not preventing protestors and legislators from entering the building. Then this woman just storms up to one of them and attempts to grab his gun while yelling “let go!”.
Don’t let a person off more lightly because they are a woman. She is one of the dirty politicians, and her popularity is waning – she did this as a publicity stunt. A lot of the comments on the video are about how serious a crime she actually committed by attempting to steal a weapon from a soldier, too.
Oh, and there’s also the fact that men are forcibly conscripted in south korea, forced to serve or else never be able to find employment, waste two years of their live as a slave, while women live free and under no such pressure or threat of life ruining consequences for insubordination. Total recipe for social harmony right there.
So basically, this all turned out okay because the guys with the guns decided they didn’t want to kill anyone.
This is why we need women everywhere to balance out the testosterone. Even if this guy or any guy’s Mom isn’t watching at the moment he may do something (anything) bad, a woman can be the voice like this woman in this video.
Worst case the guy does something bad, but even in that worst case, every guy everywhere who sees the result will be changed.
Makes you wonder what would have happened if there were a woman out there like this in Tiananmen Square, scolding the tank drivers. What happened was horrible enough, but maybe it would have made a difference.

Kendell Jenner Pepsi AD level critical thinking and energy here
I don’t know how she didn’t trip or stumble when wresting with the barrel of that gun. You know, because of her giant, glorious balls
This is right up Hollywood’s alley.
I just wanted to point out that the protesters and MPs weren’t the only ones that stopped the coup: the soldiers and officers did.
They didn’t shoot or carry out unlawful orders, they upheld their oaths.
Had any of these three groups not acted swiftly or refused to bow down the coup would have probably succeeded, or at least ended with blood and tears.
South Korea got very lucky
Thankfully she didn’t need to do it in the end.
>Ahn can be seen shouting at the soldier in the clip: “Let go! Don’t you feel the shame?” After she grabs his rifle, the soldier steps back.
>Asked if she knew it would gain that much attention, Ahn said: “There were many people braver than me who stood up to the martial law troops. There were people who even managed to stop armoured vehicles outside. So, I don’t think my actions were particularly special.”
The woman is a hero.
Yeah good on the soldiers for not murdering a fucking unarmed woman
