I’m new to Tampere, and I’ve noticed very long queues of people quite often. What are these for, especially around Metso Area?

  3. Is that a cemetary? Something related to Indepedence day maybe?

    We Finns do like to queue for various stuff for sure. It’s a minimum effort social acitivity 😀

  5. It’s a queue for free surplus food provided by Red Cross of Finland. The picture is from the cemetery/park next to Alexander Church.

  6. Yeah Finland 2024, people still need to stand in line for food like some soviet country. GG.
