I went through all sorts of stuff from the statistisches Bundesamt but couldn't find anything like this. Maybe it's not directly available from public figures, but surely this would be highly interesting.

  1. I don’t think such data exists for germany.

For me this data are collected just to push a certain agenda. And I hope this is not done here.

  2. Didnt read them, so i dont actually know if they answer your question, but as a starting point:

  3. Would be nice if you could explain this graph.

MENAPT. I have never heard about that. But fine..

However… on the y-axis there are a few numbers but nothing that clarifies what it actually represent.

  4. This is a very hot topic in Germany, so very little actual research is done (unfortunately). Afaik some social security spending has statistics about Germans/Non Germans, but I am not sure if there is more precise data. I am pretty sure, there is no such data for descendants of immigrants, who are German.

  5. If this refers to what the ethnic background of taxpayers is and how much they pay then there is no such data. Taxpayers are not surveyed by their ethnic background. I dont believe the ampunt of tax levied is statistically connected to individual taxpayers at all – that might even be illegal due to the state tax secret. Only the amount of tax as a whole is surveyed.

  6. I find this interesting but especially considering what that means about which jobs which people do. The money you earn (and therefore how much taxes you pay) does not depend on the importance of your job. On the other hand, how is a person who works for the government (or other publicly funded organisations) count here, since their income is also a negative contribution to society.

  7. Immigrants are an incredibly vulnerable group so they are typically being exploited the most doing jobs the local population doesn’t want to do anymore, and the pay is often so terrible that the state has to substitute it.

  8. I am def sure this data is available – just not shown in public domain! I am sure this graph stands true in case of Germany.
All I say everyday I am highly skilled migrant in this country and I add to the economy, learn German and have never ever taken any benefits, but when you go to Foreign Authority- they put me and MENAPT in same category! This wasn’t the case in Amerika or Ireland or UK where I worked as highly skilled migrant as well. Hope Germany realises this soon that we need to distinguish highly skilled (making more than 6 figures), semi/low skilled and refugees from ME!

  9. The German government has the data, they just don’t release it. I wonder why?

And if anyone tells you they don’t have the data, they are beyond naive.

  10. You won’t find this sort of data publicly accessible in Germany because, as one German politician once said about another topic, “part of the answers to this question would unsettle the population.”

  11. I personally would appreciate such data being readily available to the public and published annually. I won’t hold my breath though

  12. It will look exactly the same. This will be the case for very single developed country on earth except for island states, where it will be switched. European immigrants bring capital, capital brings taxes. Western immigrants do high paying jobs thus they pay high taxes. Immigrants from other regions work in lower paying jobs thus less contribution in such a graphic.
