I don’t think Americans approve of murder, but maybe we sympathize with people screwed over by the healthcare industry. It’s tough either way, imo
I have absolutely zero sympathy for Brian Thompson at all. AFAIC the fucker got what he deserved.
The exact same sympathy he had when denying life saving medical treatment to his customers, but we’re the assholes?
Social media is incapable of sympathy.
Individuals who post have little sympathy for him, and for very good reason.
I put in a pre-authorization request for thoughts and prayers, but it was denied.
It seems like the shooter had an axe to grind with UnitedHealthcare.
That narrows it down to tens of millions of possible suspects.
Murder is wrong which is probably why the CEO was shot. Through his business decisions he murdered a lot of people by denying them the health coverage they paid for.
I’m not losing any sleep over dead murderers.
Wait, it’s the private insurance companies that have death panels? Who knew? /s
He was working for a company who denied the most requested help from sick and dying people…
Let that sink in.
How many lives was he responsible for taking…?🤔
Fuck this guy, his family, coworkers and every other azzhoe out there like them. Thoughts and prayers the shooter remains free.
Fucked up, yes. Entirely predictable, also yes. This guy was probably in the last few thoughts of many dying people, if God listens
We’re just giving the same energy that insurance company gives when they deny claims.
Nobody has sympathy for a rich pos.
Aw did a guy who made 10 million a year deciding who lives and who dies get what he deserved? Oh no. How could we not care…
One person’s tragedy ought not be another’s windfall. I am opposed to violence, but I understand.
I haven’t reached my deductible to care yet .
Social media telling us what social media is doing. Like yeah I think we all can see what has been being said this whole time. We are social media.
Unfortunately, this is going to do nothing to change their or any other insurance company’s practices. This is why it’s not so great that they will be getting even fewer regulations in the near future. I am not super pro regulations but it is too easy for health insurance companies to screw over their customers and it is truly a matter of life or death!
People can’t see that the problem is the pos government we have. Universal healthcare is the answer not killing people.
I mean we’ve been watching our kids get gun down in schools for many years now. A billionaire who’s lived a full life many times over gets gun down isn’t even going to register to many of us.
Yes
Well, that’s because instead of our less-than-truthful lawmakers insinuating themselves here to LIE about the state of healthcare in America, we have actual citizens/insureds who have been harmed by said insurance providers weighing in. Hope lawmakers are paying attention, but I’m not holding my breath.
If I passed out & had to go to the hospital, UHC would probably find some creative way to deny that claim.
he wasn’t murdered he was exterminated, like a diseased rat.
i had the same reaction to his death as the death of osama bin laden, if health insurance companies like uhc dont like their ceos being held at the same moral level as an international terrorist or josef mengele maybe dont have such pieces of shit scamming people when their lives are on the line, provide the fucking service people pay for in their time of need.
Every last cent of the 26 million he received last year (let alone the millions other executives, auditors, lawyers, etc have collectively gotten) are all from money that was demanded from us without being spent on actual healthcare.
There is something morally and ethically wrong with it being *this profitable* to provide healthcare insurance while denying cancer treatments, basic meds, hospital stays etc to millions of people.
Surprise, people arent concerned with 8 figure annual millionaires being reminded that buying off the government doesnt protect you from the people you steal from. He is directly profitted from telling untold thousands of people they are too expensive to save, lives off money made from *actual death panels*, and im supposed to care he got shot
I think there will be alot more angry people deciding to do the same thing in the future.

The guy denied payment for his consumers on the regular. So why should I feel bad for him?
“You get what you fuckin deserve!”
Box four.
The people that think the murder of a CEO is ok are the same people that think killing babies is ok… the people of love, tolerance, and joy.
I don’t care. Do you?
You reap what you sow, motherfuckers.
Karma’s a bitch.
Check yourself before you wreck yourself. Too late.
It bees like that sometimes.
Oh well.
I’m not a fan of murder, gun violence, school shootings, or people being denied life saving care because of profit margins.
If I’m not supposed to care about a room full of kids, a church full of people, or people at concert getting gunned down I guess I shouldn’t care about this single death?
