Well, for the current Ukrainian regime “russification” means everything outside of genocide of Russian-language culture in Ukraine. Hence the ban on Russian language, demolition of Russian-language writers monuments (ISIS-style), etc.
Ukraine’s society must take a closer look at itself and ask why hundreds of thousands Ukrainians prefer to return to the occupied territories or even Russia and get “russified” instead of worshipping Bandera and convert great bilingual Ukrainian culture into some provincial and globally irrelevant folk art.
Casual reminder that a reasonable analyst (like us) should not take for granted everything that comes from the UA authorities. Case in point
