  6. Fun fact: Guy’s smell more the next day because their bodies take longer to break down the alcohol. Also why women get drunk faster as their bodies break down alcohol faster

  14. I wonder which late night host will clown on Thompson’s assassination first. I am fairly confident it won’t be Stephen Colbert. He’s the guy who incites hate between left v. right, not broke v. rich.

  15. I’m very left in most of my views and I know Colbert was being sarcastic, but to be fair Pete Hegseth was working in a show. It’s conceivable that drinking could help this sort of work in which case have at it (I’d recommend keeping it in moderation since alcohol does health effects but that’s your business). It’s entertainment. Of course depending on how you are effected it’s plausible that drinking could screw up your performance on entertainment jobs too, but the important thing there is whether you entertain successfully.

    As long as he cuts that out in his new job this is not a problem.

    Now I do think that his lack of experience compared to other potential picks is a problem and that would be a problem even if he was a teetotaler.
