Didn’t he say as much right after the invasion started. He warned NATO not to help by saying something along the lines of ‘Nato has the larger military but Russia has nukes and you shouldn’t forget that’.
He’s destroyed all hope for a strong, independent & prosperous future for the Russian people and nation. Hatred runs so deep within against anything western it has reignited the motivating factor of their entire foreign policy, which is to destroy the west at all cost, to their own detriment. If this is the case then gather up your western allies and put an end to the war in Ukraine Mr military chief… before it is too late and Putins Ruzzia is no longer vulnerable. Otherwise why even speak it.

Putler shows no logic. He’s playing to his domestic captive audience. He only cares about dominance and survival. When the pensioners don’t receive a pension and enough mothers of dead soldiers organize themselves that’ll be the end of this evil clown.
He’s not irrational. I’ll give him that. However, is he a the Tsar trapped in his own collective prison that his Kleptocratic society keeps him in? Yes. As long as that ideology of strength tied to pride, mockery, and terror is systemic and culturally accepted, the social beatings will continue to prop up such perversions of humanity as a whole. What he has severely underestimated is the logistical nightmare he’s created in the escalation. It’s destabilized the globe and not in the way he, the KGB, and Kremlin anticipated (like they are trying to backpedal on from time to time on propagandist channels and state broadcasts). In a nutshell? They know they fucked, now they are trying to contain and soften the fuck up.
The entire world knows we’d be overwhelmed by WWIII and the entire world would lose.
I doubt this.
There can only be a world war if the war extends to other geographies. And with his puppet now elected there is no way the US would intervene in Europe.
And anyway considering the military human and economic cost of the Ukraine war, Russia will not be in a position to do anything large scale in the coming decades. Especially with Poland having rearmed fast.
