1. This is par for the course for the Home Office; they lose contact with thousands of asylum applicants.

   Asylum seekers want to escape France because it’s so much easier to access services here without an ID and disappear to work illegally.

   Economic migrants pose as asylum seekers and proceed to completely take the piss out of our system – even committing serious crime like in this case.

3. Serious question. What’s the plan here? Just keep importing undocumented men, enmasse, and when they commit terrible crimes, we just release them and make them “promise” to return at a later date. And then just tell the public “Oh. Sorry, they are missing”. What an absolute joke. Since the start of 2017, agencies and law enforcement have disrupted 39 late-stageterror plots and there have been 15 domestic terror attacks and yet anybody can arrive with no documentation, commit serious crimes and be left to “disappear” or live off the tax payer. Oh, we are been led on a merry little dance.
