I see Zwarte Piet in the bottom right. Prepare for a shitstorm.
Happy Saint Nicholas Day from Ukraine to you too!
Happy (Belgian) Saint Nicolas day the day some random old guy comes around the homes of Belgium to bring gifts and chocolate to nice kids and then departs on his steam ship
Never understood why Belgium got a free pass on Black Pete while the Netherlands had to scrap ’em.
Is the coin edible aswell or is it some kind of trinket?
I’ve read “Belgium Empire” and got worried for a moment
We celebrate Saint Nicholas day here in Bulgaria too. But we eat carp instead of chocolate
Happy Saint Nicholas
Me shnet Shenkolli. For us catholic albanians this was now with the globalization christmas and easter are, however historically the most important feast
And instead of chocolate a lamb on a spit is prepared
Does he also live in Spain? Or is that only the Dutch one? (Or did I make that up?)
I see Bakkerij Victor!
Stasegem is een wereldstad 😉
I always thought the saint nicolas was from Turkey [historically]
Didn’t know the Belgians celebrated an orthodox saint , why is that?
We celebrate him here because Saint Nicolas is the patron saint of my region, he visits schools and gives chocolates to children.
