  1. That the rapists were not held in jail shows how rape is seen. These are rapists who went online to find someone to rape. The reporting here says many of the men came back multiple times to rape. And men are totally silent on this. This trail should show women cannot trust any man.

  2. The accused persons should not serve custodial sentences or spend a day in prison. Community service should suffice.

The complainant was a silent partner or accomplice after all.

  3. I think women need to let it sink in that lots of these men were married and with children, some firefighters, journalists…people who supposedly are upstanding and caring. Not all men decided to accept the invitation by Pelicot, but 100% of them stayed silent.
And how have average men on the street reacted ? Have they gone to support the victim and women generally???
    No…they don't care !!!
    Wake up girlies !!!

  4. Note…he was caught Up-Skirting !!! This sort of behaviour needs to be treated a lot more seriously…like the policeman who was reported for flashing before unaliving Sarah Everard.
These are very dangerous behaviours that show intent and attitude towards women.

  5. It absolutely blows my mind that we owe this trial, and the discovery of this crime to the fact that a cop actually took it seriously when someone reported an upskirt photographer in the grocery store. Cops blow this stuff off ALL THE TIME! How many other Dominic Pelicots are out there?

  6. May your Jurists see this through what the full extent of the law allows…the World is watching this….for Gisele, peace, serenity and the adoration of her children and grandchildren, for decades to come…..we are watching France….I'm NY Toms very British/Brazilian future wife MD

  7. Her bravery is astounding. If the court sides with the men, that may be the world's tipping point for female led riots. Try running the world with half of us on strike!

  8. The prosecution didn't ask for a high punishment for "aggravated rape" that carries about 20 years??? For this unbelievable crime that Madame Pelicot endured over 10 years those prosecutors should be jailed too.

  9. If she consent to it, why is she SEDATED and having memory lapse. Even her daughter and daughter in laws were sedated and taken photos without their consent. Frustrating.

  10. As a woman, obviously this is horrifying. But on the other hand, men rape women all over the world, in every country, in every province, in every state….Why is that? I see articles that talk about rape in the Israeli against Palestinians war, and I think to myself: of course there's rape. EVEN IN PEACE THERE IS RAPE. Male Violence is everywhere.
