  1. >“Whilst stationary at a red light I put my work address into Waze, hoping to find a route that would get me to work on time.”

Are people that dim they think the courts believe this.

There is zero chance that she was driving a car that didn’t have Android Auto / Apple CarPlay, so for this pathetic excuse to be true then did she not know how to use it? Did she not know how to press the voice activation button on the steering wheel or onscreen and give the address to Waze (assuming it wasn’t already stored)?

  2. >Facing a driving ban, the former Strictly Come Dancing finalist told the court: “As I am a single mum without childcare, my son relies on me to pick him up and drive him to his football club and home again, which can sometimes be as late as 10pm. I also use my car to get to and from work on a daily basis. Again I am extremely sorry that I made such a bad judgment and hope you may be able to take in to consideration how vital it is that I can continue to drive when deciding whether or not I will receive a driving ban.”

London’s buses, black cabs and underground give it the most iconic public transport network in the world. What a stupid city to make this argument in. Glad the judge banned this idiot x

  3. The important bit – she had six points already. Another six for using a mobile. Automatic ban.

  4. This entitled See You Next Tuesday hasn’t heard of voice recognition that is possible even in my Peugeot 207 GT line that is getting close to 10 years old now. Lying.

  5. Still remember her presenting the precursor to Sunday Brunch on BBC. Thick as 2 short planks. There wasn’t a week that went by without me and my wife groaning and Simon and Tim shooting each other a “did she really just say that” look. Absolutely no wonder she didn’t go with them when they went to C4.

It was always a relief when there was a guest presenter.

  6. I bet she was phoning me with her depraved filth again.

  7. Right, and I need to know this because?

I’m referring to how these websites seem to tell us about these sorts of things, not OP posting it here.

  8. Every excuse under the son!!

So many people are on their phones still, celebs like this need to be banned as an example.

  9. Pretty harsh for briefly using satnav while stationary.

  10. On a daily basis I see parents driving near school with their eyes almost entirely on their phone. It needs to be an instant ban
