Some of the most tolerant countries have large pay gaps…. almost like women and men are different and if you let them do what they want they will choose different things to do.
a single figure is not nearly enough data to make any inferences… what jobs are they working? what are their hours? who is working overtime? etc etc.
How many hours do women work compared to men in those countries?
if companies paid women less, they would hire only women because payroll would be lowest.
I’d be really interested to know if this stat correlates with the rate of fertility of different european countries
I think I read somewhere that this pay gap is not between men and women but between fathers and mother, I wonder if that’s true
It’s it counted for the same jobs/positions?
As long as men hold the best paying jobs, and I’m not referring only to white collar but blue collar as well since there are thousands of big money positions in this class and also as long as this stats aren’t categorized by profession and ranking there will always be a gender pay gap.
