  1. In the article, it’s stated that in Germany they consider delaying phasing out nuclear stations for a bit but no mention of replacing them with new ones.

  2. The thing is countries could do this already. No one’s banning coal, but it just gets incredibly costly due to the CO2 emission tax.

  3. Any energy source should be on the table as a *temporary* alternative to Russian gas, during the transition. We burned mountains of coal for 200 years, another year or two is not going to destroy the environment.
