  1. And my friends expected me to drive them to Dublin airport at 3AM 60+MPH winds slide on lads

  2. Our power went off 45mins after the red warning came into effect.

  3. Baton down the hatches, make sure the beer is safe!!

  4. Our power is always going out and tonight is the one time it didn’t. I’m not complaining, but I do find it funny.

  5. The winds have been relentless since 11pm. House feels like it’s shaking. No power and I’d say there’s going to a be a trail of destruction come the morning.

Anyone out in this is insane.

  6. Lost power at 10.30 last night. I’ve no water because I have a well and I’ve work at 7 am! Yay

  7. Quick, everyone to the North East where there is no weather

  8. Not long back from Cavan town to Newry and it was wild, tree’s down everywhere and all sorts lying on the road

  9. I just found a roof slate in my garden and it’s not from my house. It’s too dark to see neighbors houses so I’ll need to wait.

  10. I’m in Lisburn and it’s definitely windy even though the map seems to suggest otherwise!

  11. If you seen that other post, the hotels are going to be full tonight.

  12. I was out for a walk earlier this morn and it was not too bad. Some bits of branches on the footpath here and there. I’m in Cork.

  13. In Dublin, one side of my estate is in darkness without power, other side still has it 😂

  14. I can see my house from here… (it’s one of the numbers).

  15. Genuinely surprised when I woke up to find the power was still on. Slept like a dead man through the night, woke up to find the phone fully charged and lights working.

  16. Our power usually goes out with the slightest puff of wind, it even went out on Thursday evening so I’m amused it has survived storm Darragh!

  17. Power went for 30 mins and in those 30 mins 2 out of 4 of our PolyTunnels turned into hot air baloons.

  18. Not sure what time u Lost power but I know the house alarm went off at 0130, I’m also missing a shed and the kids garden toys are all over the place.

  19. That was the worst wind I ever heard in Westmeath. 1/4 of our shed was destroyed but thankfully no animals in it

  20. Didn’t lose power and apart from a few gusts I didn’t notice it being too bad last night. Then I go out this morning and there’s a tree down just up the road.

  21. Left for work this morning, neighbours bin in my garden and all it contents. Hoping more wind blows it all back to their driveway before I get home

  22. This happens pretty much every time we get 90+ km/h winds.

  23. At least the wind is respecting the good Friday agreement
