  8. Forgive my ignorance, but this situation is insane to me. You had both Iran and Russia propping up Assad and yet a terrorist group similar to the taliban was able to secure the weaponry, numbers and organizational fortitude to start taking over the country.

    Syria, Iran and Russia have all been defeated now. Iran and Russia are running out and Syria is retreating to the south for a last stand I guess.

    I love that Russia and Iran are pretending that Turkey is a mediator for peace. Erdogan made these guys look like fools. Turkey is the new powerhouse in the region.
