I feel like this same thing happened last year around this time and it turned out they were stockpiling weapons for a mass attack on energy infrastructure in the colder months.
probably because ukraine started hunting all the spotting orlan drones.
I read a few weeks ago that the new fpv interceptor drones are causing problems for russian reconnaissance drones which in turn causes a drop of glide bombs hitting
Perhaps they have destroyed all the hospitals and schools withing range.
Frenzied Morpho has shoved them all up his arse ?
The leading cause is F16
They are probably stockpilig them to use them in one go later. The question is why would they need to stockpile when they were supposed to have huge amounts of them. Lobbing 100+ per day means 3.000 per month and 30.000 in ten months. With the hits on the ammunition depots and bomber jets requiring fuel and and maintenance the more they fly, i could easily see the need to wind down the bombings..
No more planes, too afraid to use planes or no more bombs. Either way Ukraine seems to do something right.
It coincided with the start of the Syrian operation, didn’t it?
Assuming they’re saving them because once Trump is in power. He’ll make Ukraine give concessions. Plus, the Russian military wants to save money because the economy is perishing.
Maybe F-16’s or NATO allowing weapons to be used in Russia now.
Probably a combination of long range strikes on ammo depots and airfields pushing back Russian aviation, and better interception of surveilance drones. Maybe F-16s with long range air-to-air missiles scare them too.
Longer distance from airfield, more hours flying less payload and more maintenance
What is KAB
Would they maybe have depleted their stock of older bombs (to which they attach new gliding kits)?
I believe it just comes down to Russia running out of them.
I saw a post on r/UkraineRussiaReport a couple of weeks back of a set of them that weren’t painted (I think that’s the right word) because they were going to be used so quickly that there was no need for the paint for storage.
Apparently the rebel groups in Syria have united in the south as well
