I need the bus into Bangor this morning, hoping no more disruptions
Kind of wild to think they allowed double decker services to resume.
Translink don’t give a fuck about their staff.
Sub’s never happy, Translink try to keep services going and they get this abuse.

Right so they keep services running during a storm but leaf fall is too much for them
Looks like he took the Internet out too
Someone posted about how shit Belfast International Airport was, but I came to say I believe it gets an unfair slagging.
This is direct from the Belfast Telegraph:
“A total of 31 flights into and out of Belfast City Airport have now been cancelled, with destinations such as Heathrow, Manchester, Cardiff, Birmingham, Edinburgh and Amsterdam impacted.
There are currently no reports of flight cancellations at Belfast International.”
For safety and the ability of planes to actually take off and land, the International airport is easily the better of the two.
I had a trip to Oslo booked just last week when they cancelled all flights into and out of Belfast City. The problem with them is that it is the minimum legal length of an airport allowed. It gives no room for error, and in cases of bad weather, they err of the side of caution and have to cancel.
We were told the problem isn’t usually the taking off, it’s the landing. So we had the farcical situation of waiting about, flight cancelled, rebooked to later flight that day, also cancelled. But all the flights supposed to land couldn’t, and they were redirected to land at – you guessed it – the International Airport – even though the fog was just as bad, if not worse.
The cancellations also then have a knock-on effect into the next morning as no planes were able to land to get prepped.
We ended up booking our outbound journey out of Dublin and travelled on the express bus from Belfast City Centre. Was actually very handy, toilet on board too. Wouldn’t use Belfast City Airport again if I could avoid it.
With the current upgrades, BFS will only get better.
Long live the International!
Fuck, was anyone hurt?
He must have been flying low
Bloody translink
The side area on a decker is huge, and they’re not that heavy for their size, in a strong gust of wind, you’re just a passenger.
A double decker in this weather?? I hope the driver is ok.
You can’t park there sir
Driver took door to door service too literally
“You’re pissed leave your car here and take the bus instead”
