My worst nightmare right here. We had an oak tree fall on our house last year after a storm and our insurance now won’t cover us for any further storm damage. Actually don’t have a clue what I would do if this happened to us

My worst nightmare. Seriously.
Looking at the bit of roof to the left, the house looks badly designed – big overhanging bit of roof that comes down low enough to obscure the top part of the window, that would not only block natural light but if a strong gust got under there and the roof was weakly supported it would lift the whole lot which looks to be what happened
Whoever installed that light fitting needs a pat on the back
