  5. Genuinely excited to see if she gets the position. Seeing her being active part of the Harris campaign trail should’ve sounded the alarm to people that she’s not the outsider that party leadership once deemed her. The older leadership knows that Ocasio-Cortez is most definitely on the fast track to being leadership within the next decade and I’m absolutely thrilled for it.

  20. There are currently a bunch of competing messages for why Kamala lost. If the wrong message comes out on top, then dems are gonna lose again. They didn’t lose because Kamala was too left or too centrist or too woke or too black or not black enough. She lost because for some reason, Americans think she’s out of touch and trump isn’t. 2026 and 28 will be about proving the dems care more about you than republicans. AOC knows this. But a bunch of establishment dems are denying it. AOC is trying to drive the message now and if she gets to be the anti trump and thus the face of the resistance by taking this committee post, she might be successful.

    It will be AOC vs Jim Jordan (and Donald Tromp by proxy). She’ll do well. Imagine the visuals; Jim Jordan angry and yelling while AOC calmly pops his bubble with piercing wit.

  40. I’m glad America has AOC fighting for them. Hopefully she gets the jobs she’s after and thwarts everything Sadolf shitler tries to do. I know it probably won’t work for everything, but with her fighting, minorities may not get as ass fucked as Sadolf wants.
