CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Students at Windsor Park Elementary got a special scientific treat today.
The Hagerman Science Show stopped by the school Friday to give students a first-hand look at some of their crazy and kooky experiments.
The man behind the show, Hagerman the Entertainer has been seen on shows like America’s Got Talent.
The hands-on demo invited students on stage to find out how things like static electricity and gyroscopes work.
“The important thing here is we’re tying together real life science experiments with what they’re learning in the classroom, with what they see around the world. We want our kids to know that science is everywhere and that hands-on science is something they can do as well,” said principal Kimberly Bissell.
Friday’s special performance was brought to the school with the help of the Windsor Park PTA.
