There are allot of reasons to defend NATO, in its membership. As a defensive organisation. It’s a bit of an extreme position to say you can’t hold an organisation to account, in fact it’s democratic to do so.

Can’t fault him. There are criticisms of NATO (for example the stragegy in Afghanistan or Libya) which are entirely valid and worthy of debate. Trying to attribute Putin invading Ukraine to NATO is at best biblically stupid and at worst deliberately disingenuous.

Pretty much the whole of the UK is united against Russia and Putin. The only ones who aren’t are the far left useful idiots and traitors.
Either we deal with them now or if we go into election with their voices still being heard it’ll be 3 election defeats in a row for Labour.
Does Starmer actually have a strategy other than kicking people out of the party? This seems to be his recourse to anything.
Corbyn would’ve handled the Russian invasion of Ukraine terribly. He would’ve questioned the veracity of satellite images of a 100000 plus Russian troops massing in the border. Then dismissed it as just and exercise. He would of criticised NATO’s response and accused it of provication and the worries of countries bordering Ukraine. He would’ve blocked sending military assistance.
Starmer has sent the right message. Criticise NATO for policy decsions but for its existence. It is the only thing stopping Putin invading the Baltic states and maybe other countries on the Eastern border.
