Our constitution is from the 1700’s and has had very little updating. There are huge gaping holes for nefarious people to walk through.
Well, if basically half of the Romanian Government was in the Pocket with Putin, they wouldn’t be redoing it either. Republicans in Congress aren’t -FOR- American Citizen interests.
Besides, if they did the election again WITHOUT Russian Interference, they’d lose.
The Russian interference is affecting our voters, not our vote counting.
I don’t know if I really want our Supreme Court deciding if there was interference or not
Most countries with constitutions amend them on a regular basis, acknowledging what’s obsolete and adding new amendments to keep up with the times. We are stuck in the past, with the 27th Amendment having been passed more than 30 years ago in 1992 and that was preventing congressional pay raises from going into effect until there is a new class of Representatives (so no more repeatedly voting for their own pay raises to go into effect during the same term). It’s been 53 years since the last amendment that affected the American people as a whole went into effect and that was the 26th Amendment that lowered the voting age to 18 and was ratified on July 1, 1971!
We are also still have only 435 House members despite the population of the country since the last date was admitted to the Union 65 years ago in 1959 (Hawaii) despite the population of the US having almost doubled from 177.83 to 337.20 million today.
The US won’t look into anything bc the cheating Russian team won the election. They won’t investigate themselves.

Trump won legitimately this time. If we redid the election, Trump would probably just win by even larger numbers.
We did in 2016-ings. Unknowingly, Trump actually elected a guy who oversaw the election and did a big tech audit and eliminated weak points. I’m not a Trump fan but was a shocker to me.
Romania has 6% of the US population. 19.5 million versus 330 million. (I know this isn’t the voting population)
It’s a lot easier to get a smaller number of people to vote again.
“Can’t” and “Won’t” are different things
The thing is, even if we have elections in two years, the interference will be even worse and it will be even more corrupted. And no one will investigate and no one will be held accountable.
