  1. She got what she wanted. Can’t say I feel too bad for a literal queen.

  2. The most interesting tidbits:

**“Everyone thinks I knew the late Queen, but we only met twice,” he says. “Once when I was eight and I was scared so I curtseyed rather than bowed, and again at my mother’s wedding, where my sister and I went for a fag and heard her voice behind us saying ‘Are you lost?’. [The relationship] was very much once-removed.**

TQ really disliked Camilla, huh ? or at least Camilla’s family? no invitation to Christmas or Balmoral, not even over for tea, the Middletons spent at least 2 Christmases in Sandringham and were invited to Balmoral, and met TQ on other occasions as well. no wonder Camilla is bitter.

**He says that while the invitation has always been there, his mother specifically asked him to come this year. It has been a difficult period for the King and Queen, health-wise. The King is being treated for cancer; the Queen has been recovering from a bout of pneumonia after their trip to Australia and Samoa.“My mum said ‘I’d love you to come, I haven’t had Christmas with you for a long time,’” he says. “It has been a hell of a two years for them. The older you get, the more conscious you become of mortality, especially with illnesses and the rest of it.”**

I wonder what he means by 2 years, Charles has been ill for 1.

Surprised that the stories about Camilla taking off to spend Christmas with her family being wrong, or maybe they just mean the whole thing

**“I learned a long time ago not to put my fat fingers into the world of William and Harry,” he adds. “But it was appalling what they went through. I’ve had a billionth of what they’ve had to go through but hell, I sympathise.”**

I don’t know what he means by this, but it was too weird to leave behind

  3. Why are they trying to rewrite history? Camilla is never going to be loved by the public but who cares at this point, she got the crown so she won in the end anyways

  4. Ah yes, complaining about a life of leisure during a cost of living crisis. That’ll get the results you want.

This guy is so loathsome. I’ve never read a story I like about him.

  5. Why does every single Brit aristo look like a boiled potato?

  6. If only she’d had the option to live a quiet life of country luxury

  7. Things that should be for your diary not for the telegraph. My only reaction to that is to want to give her an even harder next two.

  8. What a shame. She’s made her bed, something, something.

  9. Just curious, once William steps up, what will Camilla’s role be?

  10. Camilla girl bossed a little too close to the sun.

I firmly believe she never wanted to be queen or the princess of wales, but she did love her man and wanted him.

  11. I don’t believe for a second he would say this without it being sanctioned by his mother. I just can’t imagine waiting most of your life for a job, only to do about a quarter of the work of the previous title holder and still complain non-stop.
