Vote counting underway in Ireland in tight, three-way race • FRANCE 24 English
Vote counting was underway Saturday in Ireland’s national election after an exit poll suggested the contest is a close-fought race among the country’s three largest political parties. “According to the exit polls, Sinn Fein, on the nationalist left, has won the popular vote for the second time in a row in elections in Ireland,” FRANCE 24’s Hervé Amoric said, reporting from Dublin. But with the two other larger parties that formed the governing coalition – Fianna Fail and Fine Gael – on its heels, Sinn Fein is likely to end up with “not enough seats in the door to be able to form a government”, Amoric said.

I just don't understand. Why do the Irish people keep voting against their interests. Like damn, all the immigrants coming in wasn't a clue. They claim they hate the Jews but they're the most successful experiments. Irish people= sup3r goys
Sinn Fein are internationalist communist. The exact opposite of nationalist.
They need more than labour as the number seats has increased by 14 they will probably need the social democrats aswell
Global trends indicate it's not a good year for incumbents. Just saying.
Sinn fein won't get in
Because the existing parties won't go into government with them
I don't know why they agree on the same things apart from reunification.
The best update. From France. I couldn't find one here in Ireland
Pointless voting the majority don't what this government and people can't get the change they want
