  1. There’s something magical about Loch Ness. Who knows

  2. I want to believe it exists, but I think it’s a long shot.

I’d also like to think that if it does exist people never find it, because it’s done alright on its own without cunts interference.

  3. For the purpose of any tourists who may be reading this.

Absolutely. Of course. Without a doubt.

  4. Of course, it exists. It just hasn’t been found yet.

The most recent search for the Loch Ness Monster was The Quest, which took place from May 30 to June 2, 2024. The search was organized by the Loch Ness Centre and took place on the 90th anniversary of Sir Edward Mountain’s first expedition to search the loch.

A hydrophone was used to listen for mysterious sounds from the loch. Alan McKenna from Loch Ness Exploration captured a unique noise that lasted about 10 seconds.

An 11-year-old girl captured a potential sighting with a photo that showed a break in the water made by an unidentified object or creature.

Although the August 2023 Loch Ness Monster hunt ended without conclusive evidence of the monster’s existence, organisers heard “four mysterious and previously unheard loud noises from the depths of the loch”. However, their recording devices were not plugged in at the time.
Some reported seeing a large shadow just under the surface, moving and dipping out of sight.
Others reported seeing an object bobbing in the water..

The two-day hunt was the largest in over 50 years:

The Loch Ness Centre and Loch Ness Exploration organized the hunt.

Volunteers were assigned to 17 locations around the lake to monitor for signs of “Nessie”.

Boats were also used in the search.

Hundreds of fans watched Loch Ness via webcams.

The hunt used surveying equipment such as thermal drones and a hydrophone to detect acoustic signals.

  5. Had the pleasure of meeting Nessie at a charity do once. He was surprisingly down to earth, and VERY funny.

  6. The appropriate response to anyone saying they’ve seen it is “did ye, aye”

  7. Seen him a couple times at the Caley Stadium tbf

  8. Staring out across the lake you’d swear you saw something just from the wave motion. I’d say the best part of my visit there aside from the Visitor’s Centre was the RAF Tornados flying just overhead.

  9. I saw it outside Tescos in Dingwall once and this was after the last ice age. So it has to be true.

  10. No. Been there, and the water has too much peat, or particulate in it.

  11. No. Because I’m not daft.

The idea of it is fantastic though.

  12. Ask Steve in Dores, he’s spent a while looking…

  13. Every time I go for a pee, there are people running and screaming about the big monster.

  14. No. How old is the LNM? It has been “seen” for about a 1000 yrs so that’s one old monster.

  15. Saw her right best the mile 21 marker during the Loch Ness Marathon in 2019. She called me “a right slow cunt” and swam past.

    TBF I deserved it

  16. I mean, given that Loch Ness only formed about ten thousand years ago, I’m not sure *what* Nessie is even supposed to be? Certainly not the traditional plesiosaur-like creature like in the picture in your post; because those went extinct sixty-odd million years before Loch Ness even existed.

But for any tourists who are considered a trip up that way; yes, the Loch Ness monster is definitely real. She’s just really shy.
