Amongst other activities there will be a special book launch to  introduce the Helsinki Internationalisation Process Model developed by Reijo Luostarinen a former professor at Helsinki University.

This will be the ideal event for those involved in International Business to get together, to network and share information as those attending the conference will include academics, early-career researchers, and industry professionals.

Finland last hosted the conference in 1989 but has been closely involved in the development of EIBA organisation since then

The choice of Finland as the host of this Golden Anniversary event makes sense due to the country’s significant role in EIBA’s history and its contributions to the global discourse on international business.

As the host of EIBA’s 1989 conference, Finland has long been a cornerstone of the academy’s legacy, reflecting its dedication to fostering international collaboration and academic excellence.

As well as an intensive three days of business reviews, workshops and networking, those taking part will also be able to take advantage of the fact that Espoo is just 25 kilometres away from Helsinki so can spend some time in the capital enjoy the Christmas events including the St Lucia celebrations as well as a number of concerts.

Finland’s education system (ranked among the best globally) is known to have cultivated a culture of learning and innovation that aligns perfectly with EIBA’s mission to advance scholarly research and practical solutions in international business.
