That’s some good camerawork from the drone. Very convenient that it was nearby for Battle Damage Assessment
These mfers are astute.
Israel even invaded into Syria and declared the buffer zone no longer applicable, they now control the syrian side of Mt Hermon
I guess any chance of non-aggression between the new Syrian government and Israel went down to drain
Fewer weapons to fall into the wrong hands, in the absence of formal authority. Smart and necessary.
This might be the funniest thing I’ve seen. Pro-HTS sympathizers really thought that once Assad was toppled, they’d go after Israel. Israel learned from Oct 7 to eradicate the threat before it arises
No jet for you.
They take no chances 💀
Hamas inadvertently overthrew Assad haha
Israel: Not antagonising their new neighbour challenge (impossible)
Another dictator falls whos next?
It’ll be interesting to see what happens next now that Assad is gone.
A bunch of different rebel groups now control Syria… and I don’t see them playing together nicely.
What could be in there? MIG-29s? Ballistic missiles? Or maybe soviet-made SAM like Tor, Buk or S300?
Well I guess the new Syrian government aren’t allowed an airforce anymore…
Hezbollah will be next to get the Assad treatment considering they are now cut off from Iran without a friendly Syria on their boarder anymore.
Iran must be terrified with the fall of Syria.
Are we looking at another Libya in the making?
israel taking no chances, pragmatic
Iran having Oct 7 buyers remorse right now.
To the surprise of no one, people are pissed that Israel destroyed weapons before they could fall into the hands of an intentionally recognized terror organization. Go figure.
Reminds me of the British destroying the French fleet to keep it from Nazi hands.
This is the worse fears that Iran and Russia is having when one of your only allies just fallen in a few weeks and the military’s just collapse because there is no loyalty and the leader just fled.
I really really hope Syria did not keep any chemical weapons that can be recovered…
Was the airstrip under the control of Assad forces or anti-Assad forces at the time? ie. Was Israel trying to help the rebels or help Assad, or do they not like either of them?
Imagine surviving the last 14 years of a war that’s killed 600,000 people and then finally Rebels defeat Assad, you’re told you will get amnesty by HTS and then Israel blows you up lol.
Like a scene from a movie. Is it necessary for the drone operator to be nearby to get a footage as clear and hd as this? I assume its being relayed, viewed realtime from a command center in Israel or something. Maybe im just used to the grainy drone footages from Ukraine.
